Hump Day
Hey yall (that's the Texan in me, she rarely comes out). Nothing too special happend today. We had story time at the library, which we do everything Wed at 10. This morning was a birthday party for Dr. Suess which was cute :-) Then Chick Fil A with Laci, another Wed routine, it was delicious. Then we came home for a bit and the kids "layed down" for nap time. I put that in quotes because probably every ten minutes I had to get on to them. They haven't gotten over the new bunk beds yet, so they don't want to stop playing on it. Bradley calls it his pirate ship, so cute.
My kids are so cute! I know every parent says that about theirs, but mine crack me up every single day!! Last night, we were grocery shopping and I was asking the kids to pick out some cereal. Brad was looking for a specific one, so while I was offering different kinds, he kept saying "No, I want the really good one with the honey." I had no idea what he was talking about because how would he know which cereal had honey in it? And when had he had it? We usually get the "crap cereal" as Vivo calls it like Lucky Charms, Fruit Loops, ya know the good stuff!
So anyway, he keeps going back and forth looking at all the boxes and he finds Honey Nut he Cheerios. He may as well have said "Eureka!" because grabbed the box and was so excited he found what he was looking for! He then puts it in the cart and says, "Honey is for Nunny!' I said, that's right, but what about Boompa? "Poop is for Boompa."
LOL! We shared that with Boompa today, he's used to it :-)
Ok, I have another kid story :-) While we were unloading the groceries, Brad was helping me and I asked him if something was too heavy for him. He said, "No, I've got my big muffins." I asked if he meant muscles and he said, "Yeah, that's what I call them, my muffins." LOL!
Also, today for the second half of the day, he wore his shirt and pants backwards and walked around backwards... he is just too funny!!
Today was a pretty normal day for us. We had fun, we had struggles, we had attitudes, and we had clumsy moments. Feeling thankful tonight and also wondering how my Dad is doing.
