So, today was a good day. Normal. We did school with Kelli, Melissa and all the kids. Brad seemed a little off today for me with the paying attention and listening, but we all have off days. We went to McDonalds after and had a great time, as always. When we got home I did some handy work in the kids room and got a DVD player hooked up in there and got the remote programmed for the TV, Sattelite and DVD player... which sounds easy but it was NOT!
I've done two more loads of laundry today, and I LOVE doing laundry when I have a dryer :-) Seriously, I'm not taking anything for granted around this house.
Speaking of which, on the whole house situation, I have decided to be content. My house is pretty old and there are A LOT of quirks, but right now, its home. Instead of "turning my back' on the house and just not care about what happens to it anymore, I am going to cherish it and continue making memories with my family here. In truth, I love this house. We have a GREAT yard, the bedrooms are great sizes, I love the living room. This is where we brought Gracie home. This is where we had Christmases when my whole family was still one unit. This is where both kids had their first birthday parties. I really do love this house, I just wish I had more control on the repair aspect of it. SO if any of you know how to fix a bathroom floor that is falling in.... let me know :-)
And as for the decorating and things I was so excited for in the new house... I'm just gonna do it here if I can't move! Everything is do-able except that the kids can't have separate bedrooms, so why not?
I don't know what God has in store for us and our future house situation, but I know that right now He wants us here. Today we are here in Trumbull and I am content :-)

DAY TWO: A picture of you and the person you have been close to for the longest.
These are two of my VERY best friends. I put them both on here because I've known them both the same amount of time. I love these girls to death! They have been there for me through SO much, good and bad for almost 15 years now! I LOVE YOU AUBS AND KAMIE!!!
