Waiting for His Answer
Monday, I know most people date Mondays, but I'm a fan :-) Our Mondays are easy going because after the busy weekend, we still have another day to chill.
Today was a pretty good day. Spent most of the afternoon hanging out with Aubrey and Parker :-) I just have to say that it is pretty amazing to have someone in my life that I've known for like 15 years. Someone knows about every up and down for all those years and we got to watch each other grow up and turn into grown ups! Its very cool.... I have a few friends that I have been friends with for a long time, but for some reason, God has intertwined mine and Aubrey's life for quite some time. Anyway, I spent the day hanging out with her and crazy, sweet little Parker. We went to get her eyes checked because she "feels like" she needs glasses. I laughed at her when she did the vision test because, turns out, she does :-)
We went to Chick Fil A for lunch... YUMMMMMM, enough said.
Monday nights are always family night, which I LOVE! We always go over to Daniel's parents house and have dinner together with them, and Eric and Laci (bro and sis in law). It is usually a night filled with playing with the kids, and as I am speaking Nunny(Terri, Daniel's mom) is playing Toy Story 3 on X Box with the kids :-) It's pretty funny. I love the relationship my kids have with their grandparents.... best grandparents ever, for real.
Changing the subject, we got some discouraging news about our "new house" we were planning on moving to. Our friends who own the house went this weekend to look at the house they are wanting to get and found out they have to actually sell their house here in Ferris in order to get the other house. We were planning on just renting from them, but now that they have to sell, we are probably not going to be able to buy it. Now, God is still good and His plan is still perfect, so it may all work out and we may be able to buy it. Or God may have another house for us. All I know is that I am going crazy in the one we have... its just getting worse and worse and smaller and smaller.
I know His timing is perfect, but I can't help but wonder what He's waiting on. Are we not doing our part? Are we supposed to be in this house for longer? Is He teaching us to be patient? To take care of what we have? That we aren't supposed to have any more kids? I just dunno.... but I will. When you ask God a question, he always responds. May not be right away, may not be the answer you want, but He always answers.....
Waiting on Him.
